Jockey Zac Lloyd will only have two rides at Kembla Grange on Tuesday but he looks set to leave the track on a good note with both having great chances.
Lloyd will partner the James Cummings-trained and Godophin-owned Tulle ($1.70 favourite on TAB) in the Carlton Dry 3.5 4YO & Up Maiden Plate (1000m), as well as the Anthony Cummings-prepared Glenbower ($2.80 fav) in the Balter Benchmark 64 Handicap (1300m).
Tulle had shown plenty of ability in her first three starts in her initial campaign when finishing third in each of them, the first two in city grade before a placing at Kembla Grange and then being spelled.
She had looked good in trials before resuming with a strong finishing third at Scone, and she looks set to go on with the job in this.
Glenbower ran fourth on debut on the Kensington Track at Randwick in March of last year, and has since resumed with a victory at Newcastle early last month.
Glenbower is lining up in a handy event, but looks to have the talent to run well.
Hawkesbury trainer Brad Widdup has a number of chances at Kembla Grange headed by the handy sprinter Akaka Falls ($9.50) in The Warra Club Conditional Benchmark 68 Handicap (1000m).
To be ridden by Zac Wadick, Akaka Falls was a strong winner at Newcastle three starts ago when fresh, and then backed that up with a victory at Orange. He since ran well when finishing third at Warwick Farm in tougher grade than he meets here.
Warwick Farm horseman Matthew Smith has Divine Vicky ($3.60) lining up against Akaka Falls, having scored at Kembla Grange when last produced.
She had run well in two trials before the resuming victory, and only needs to repeat that in order to be a leading contender again with Grant Buckley taking the ride.
Smith has two other runners set to go around at Kembla Grange with Fifth Force ($5.50) in the Peroni Maiden Handicap (1600m) and Serene Nic ($11) in the same event that Glenbower contests.
Rachel King will partner Fifth Force, while Jaden Lloyd will ride Serene Nic.
